We wrote this post in Google Docs, then imported to WordPress in one click using Wordable.
January is almost over, so you don’t have much time left to write your 2017 marketing trends post.
Since you’re in a time crunch, we made this list of 6 fool proof marketing trends for 2017 that you can include in your post. Use these and your post will do really well.
1. Mention how it’s going to be the year of the consumer
Every year since the beginning of time, slightly more power has gone to the consumers. And 2017 will likely be the same, so open strong with this tip.
Consider including phrases like: “Brands will increasingly need to focus on customer experience” and “Consumers will now have a seat at your table”.
2. Say that a growing social network will grow even more
Every year, several social networks explode into the mainstream. Those are hard to predict. What’s easier to predict is that the ones that are successful will keep growing.
3. Say something about storytelling “coming back”
Storytelling started trending when a caveman first drew a cave painting of him being chased by a tiger. So it’s still a good bet that stories will be popular this year. Consider using phrases like, “Brands will have an increasingly harder time…”
4. Say that video will be huge this year
YouTube came out in 2005. In 2006, it was by Google for $1.6 billion. But tell your readers video will be huge this year. You won’t be wrong.
5. Say something about going “even more” mobile this year
The idea that we’ll all be using “mobile devices” is safe, because we have been for years. So you need to add a modifier to give it some profundity. An easy way to do this is just to say this coming year will see “even more” of a focus on mobile. I mean, how could that not happen? You’ll look a genius when it does.
6. Whatever industry you’re in, say that’s going to grow
If you tell customers that everyone is investing in your industry, they’ll have FOMO and also start investing in your industry. Then your industry is bound to take off. This is marketing.
